This is what appeared in the August 18, 2007 issue of New Scientist. The magazine left out my (Jim Tassano's) critical viewpoints on the issue of the FDA's lack of a system for approval of un-patentable drugs. Plus the article makes no mention of the clinical trials for lactic acidosis. DCA has been shown to be very safe for human use, even when self-medicated.
