Our Mission at thedcasite.com is to educate the public about the trials of Sodium Dichloroacetate or “DCA” for the use of cancer in humans and animals. This site is a gathering of articles, resources and minds who want to learn and discuss DCA and stay updated on progresses made.
We do not advocate the use of DCA for human cancer at this stage and time. We are aware that DCA is being used for illness in animals and is available to consumers through pet websites for that purpose. We are aware that DCA is used in humans for rare metabolic conditions. We are aware that DCA has not been proven to be a cure for cancer in humans and it is illegal to claim that it is a cure, and that in the USA it is illegal to claim a cure for cancer other than the FDA approved methods.
We strongly recommend consulting with your physician if you are interested in taking DCA for personal use. Not all physicians may support the use of DCA, so it is up to the individual to find one that will work with them. We would like to emphasize that ultimately it is the individual who must take personal responsibility for what they chose to do. By becoming educated, we can make better and healthier choices for ourselves and have more control over our lives.
DCA is a compound; the definition of a compound in chemistry is: “a pure substance composed of two or more elements whose composition is constant.”
According to the University of Alberta, DCA “is a simple molecule with two oxygens, two chlorines, and two carbons.”
This compound has been prescribed by physicians as a drug for certain conditions.
