"Update to diagnosis"
| |
I told in my earlier message that my mother was diagnosed with small-cell lung cancer. This turned out to be wrong information, when I called her doctor. My father and mother had misheard the word as it is in Finnish even harder to hear the difference between 'small-cell' and 'NON-small-cell'. In Finnish it is 'pienisoluinen' and 'ei-pienisoluinen'. Well that was a bit of good news, but the bad news was that it is stage III and it has spread to her skull (not in brain though). It is level IV metastasis now. Today was her first day of chemo. I must admit, that when I went to the room, where they give the substance, I had to get out find a men's room and gave a couple of tears. It's so symbolic to see your own mother getting cancer treatment. I want to thank all of you, who gave me some extra information. I'm planning to help find a better diet for my mother emphasizing vitamin B17 and D-vitamin and taking off bad sugars from her diet. More organic food, so to speak. With best regards
Pekka |

Ok OK Ok, now we can work with that!!! What do you know so far?? What is YOUR current plan? Chemo/Radiation? What are you planning to change about diet? ANy supplements taken currently? I think I recall you saying you ordered the DCA?? IF so, while you wait, read ALL from front page of the DCA site; Side Effects/Dosage/other peoples stories (I recall on where someone had great success with DCA with the same condition!!) All is not lost, sufficed you do ALL that you can too for your mother, as I am sure you would do.... Feel free to roam DCA site and ask people questions. THere is a wealth of information in here already. Hope we can help you in some way Best Elizabeth |

Thank you so much for you help and support, Elizabeth. I also need to mention that it is metastatic and it has spread to her skull (no the brain) and lymph node. The doctor said the metastasis is level IV, but the lung cancer is level III. I've read Tom McGhee's story and it is encouraging. I just hope the DCA would come a bit sooner. I ordered it on Thursday and it might take a week or two to get to Finland. I've been reading some alternative medicine sites and watched some videos and it seems there's a chance that vitamin-B17 (apricot seeds) and relatively large doses of vitamin-D might offer some help. video about vitamin-B17: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFnP9sU1KW4&feature=related video about vitamin-D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpifXPOmjis&feature=related Take care!

Morning Pekka, YEs, I know I know the stupid #'s they stamp on our heads as they send us down that LINE. I have: Advanced/Invasive Squamous cervical cancer Stage 3B/IV no mets (I think???) BUT, it is in my lymph nodes. So I do hear what you are saying. SO now you have some #s..... put them away and get busy.... #1) Look/change diet (NO: Dairy, meat, sugars, NO SMOKED anything!!Fish OR meats)(this in intself will cause a body withdrawl, a kind of cleansing BUT GOOD, even though she may not feel well
Rest, lots of good water, LOADS OF dark grape juice (Pure, organic if you can) Eat mostly raw uncooked fruits and veg.again organic if you can. I use a juicer: 2 carrots, one apple, handful of parsley/spinach, half a beet, piece of ginger, couple of stalks of celery. Have this as much as you can stand in a day. (idea is to flood the body with oxygen and enzymes, doing the fruit and veg this way, the body doesn't have to work so hard to make itself better) 1 tablespoon of organic flax seed oil MIXED IN WELL to 2 tablespoons of cotagecheese OR Quark 2/3 times per day. = Budwig protocol, plus it's a nice treat after not having all the other things + protine. #2) Find everything to boost Immune system yes, Vit D-3 (natural one) good I take 12000 iu's per day Vitamin C (I do this through an IV @ 50grams 2 x's per week + 10g per day in my juice this is a buffered Vit C) THe body will respond to too much Vit C with diarehha ONLY. Fresh fruit and veg plates, salad, legumes ect ect. Being Finish you probably have a great access to fish BUT NO PICKLED HERRINGS! OR SMOKED> oo now my mouth watering.... THe little fish are great: smelts, mackeral,(steam them and pour a little flax oil on them, same as salade I use flax and lemon juice. #3) EVEN while waiting for the DCA, start to implement these other things.
After you get the DCA and she starts to take it, it'll make her feel sick as she starts to use it. It works well, so really knocks it out of you. Well, think there is NO magic pill after you take it Tada??? You will feel ill until it gets out of your body. I guess the idea, is flush out the old, start on the new and try out the DCA. DON'T just hear their #'s///
Regards Elizabeth |

Hi, Elizabeth Thanks for asking. How are you? My mum's at the hospital, because she got some fluid to her lungs after the started with chemo. It's quite tough for her and she's received 2 doses now. Hopefully she'll return home soon. That's when I hope I can start making good, healthy food for her. I don't really trust the hospital food, to be honest. Please, tell how you're doing and what have you done so far. Take care
