My wife has stage IV lung cancer; spread to kidney and brain. She had one kidney removed and stereotactic radio surgery on the brain tumor. She was on DCA for about a week and suddenly had a bowel obstruction. She had to have surgery to remove some scar tissue. Once she is back home and eating and taking medication we are wondering if there is any concern with going back on DCA. Are there any problems with wound healing with use of DCA?
