Just wondering how some of you with GBM are doing on the DCA and other meds. I have found that since we have been on DCA and increased Decadron that my husband makes many frequent trips to the restroom at night, thus disallowing him from resting well.

Any input?

thank you,

I just looked up the side effects for Decadron. Frequent urination is a reason to contact your doctor.

I don't believe this relates to DCA use. Zyflamend may help with inflammation.

See research, right hand side of page.

Also, melatonin can help a lot with sleep - and it has anti-cancer and immune boosting properties.

Take care,
Sandra

This is all experimental but we have had no "bad" effects from using it and definately have some positives like:

1) Energy boost
2) No addtional spread due to high PH level and low acidic levels
3) Hope of a future - the ability to dream of new goals
and to one day to have only one foot verses two feet in the grave
because an invincible cancer is no longer invincible.
4) DCA and alternatives empower us.

DCA has many who doubt our success so we are like the folks who challenged the world being flat by heading out to sea on ships made of wood exposing ourselves to all of the elements of the unknown. Like shipmates we try to work with each other in order to encourage and succeed in living another day free of tumor progression.
