My wife is after surgery and radiation and is presently on Avastin. The brain tumor is very small per MRI but they say she still has some swelling that increase lately. She was diagnosed with combination of actrysitoma and oligodendroglioma. The tumor shrank initially after few rounds of Avastin but now does not decrease anymore. I am thinking of starting her on DCA to completely get rid of it. I do not know if DCA can be used with Avastin. Does anyone used DCA while on Avastin? With what results?
