   Dear Chris,

My suggestion is to start at 15mg/Kg and work it up as far as she faces no side effects. My sister takes 40mg/Kg, 7days on, 3 days off. She tolerates it very well, no side effect. Other people face side effects at very low doses. Nobody can be sure.

Lipoic acid is good, take it on empty stomach. A dose of 600mg/day is recommended.
LDN at 4.5mg is also a good treatment. Check this discussion about:
http://www.thedcasite.com/dcaforum/DCForumID10/161.html
And also Artesunate http://artemisinin.pbworks.com/

Baking soda (without aluminium) is also very important. 3 teaspoons per day can keep her PH > 7.00

Some other supplements that I would consider:
Omega 3 and especially DHA, 12gr/day
I3C 2-3gr/day (improves DCA a lot)
curcumin
melatonin 20-30mg/day
quercetin 2gr/day http://www.iherb.com/Source-Naturals-Activated-Quercetin-200-Capsules/1011?at=0

Maria has started taking 250mg of aspirin every second day. It has proved to be very effective for her Breast Cancer. Cancer is an inflammatory disease, so anything anti-inflammatory should work.
