"Hoarseness as a side effect?"
| |
Can anyone tell me if they have had experience with hoarseness as a side effect while using DCA? My dad has been using the DCA protocol for approximately 10 weeks now. He has noticed trembling in his hands, some dizzy spells, breathlessness, and tired. He is also being treated with low-dose chemo and radiation so its difficult to say what may be causing it... possibly a combination..?? I'm planning to get in touch with Medicor ASAP for help but until then any input would be appreciated. Cheers, Dianne |

I think I may know what is causing the hoarsness! The short answer is that it is nerve related... so be sure to read the instructions on using B1 and ALA to prevent neuropathy Read about it on the following links: http://www.thedcasite.com/dca_safety.html http://www.thedcasite.com/DCA_protocol/DCA_Tea_Protocol.html What makes me think its nerve related? Well, I recently went to see a thoracic surgeon because of a lymph node in my chest that they suspect has cancer. I was informed that if they operated to remove it, it could cause temporary hoarsness due to the fact that the node was resting right alongside a nerve that connect to the vocal chords! So it is just a guess, but perhaps this same nerve is being irritated or inflammed when taking DCA and not enough B1 and ALA. Nerves need to be protected or it can cause permanent damage. I don't say this to scare you -- but just consider up-ing your supplement levels and see if it helps. |
