WHAT????
Quote: People posting on the DCA site have yet to share results. An increasing number say they have ceased taking DCA after becoming uncomfortable with perceived body chemistry changes.

Well, the only two people on this forum who I know quit taking DCA are Squareb and Omega3, and they were taking high doses of 50mg/kg/day. The only side effects they mentioned were tingling in toes and intermitent slight shakiness in fingers. Compare that to conventional chemo drugs.

It just disgusts me to read all the LIES IN THE PRESS, when if they really wanted to know what we are all doing on here, they could just come and read for themselves. Instead they make up whatever they want to print, or whatever Dr. Michelakis wants them to print.

Yes, Jim got a letter from lawyers for the U of A, telling him to remove his link to the U of A's donation page. Read about it here http://www.thedcasite.com/dca_summary_action.html

"We were asked to pull our link to the University of Alberta DCA clinical trail donations website at the request of the legal counsel of the University of Alberta on March 22, 2007. Sorry for the inconvenience. Doctor Michelakis is not happy with the existence of our site. It is unfortunate they requested this, as we know many visitors to this site have donated. We still support rapid action for clinical trials. If readers of this site know of other institutions needing financial support for clinical trials, please forward us that information so we may list them here and continue to push the development of DCA as a cancer treatment for everyone.

The most unfortunate issues to me are how the University of Alberta could keep DCA a secret for so long, and then fight so rigorously to discourage terminal cancer patients from trying DCA, even under the supervision of a doctor. Current estimates are that it will be two years before DCA is approved officially, if it ever is, through the normal processes. In those two years, more than 1.5 million people in North America alone will die of cancer. How many died while the University of Alberta sat on this discovery?"
