this is the first time I have used a internet forum so I will probably be a bit wet behind the ears.

I have joined as I need urgent advice. To cut a long story short in Dec 06 my father had his thyroid and parathyroid removed, due to a localised cancerous growth this was followd by raditherapy to the right side of his neck in April 07, in May 07 another small lump was found in the middle of his neck this was excised in June and was supposed to be followed by some more localised radiotherapy. Due to an infection this did not happen and he had his first review with the oncologists on Monday 19/08/07.

He was told that the cancer had spread all over his right side, down into his lungs and now starting on the left side of his neck. They have never seen a cancer grow so fast and within the next 2-6weeks they expect the cancer will strangle him as it cuts off his wind pipe. They say no conventional treatment can help.

As you can see I am looking for any clinical trials or alternative treatments, what have we got to lose. I came accross DCA the other day, only to find out the FDA have jsut closed down a main source of the chemical, and now other suppliers are becoming very strict on who they will supply to.

Can anybody help me source DCA and with any other advice?
