"DCA's Effects on Multiple Lipoma Tumors"
 
   My father is a physician here in Las Vegas. I was diagnosed several years go with multiple (24 at last count)Lipomas, small fatty tumors under the skin. Most are 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter, bothersome and slightly painful-but they have been multiplying and seemingly sending out branches from the "colonies". I had been contemplating surgery. A close friend was diagnosed with Prostate cancer and I heard about DCA, purchased some for my friend, and read the Warburg effect and wondered whether his theories applied to ALL Tumors. I began taking DCA 10 mg every 2 days, 10 days ago. I immediately felt stinging and burning in multiple lipoma locations. They burn and sting and itch, and are appreciably smaller in 1.5 weeks of this low dose and drinking black tea with honey. Some have light bruising in their vicinity. They all feel less full and swollen, and the "connections" between the clusters are slowly disappearing. In my case I can report that lipomas are definitely affected by the DCA treatment.I am going to continue the treatment until they are gone.

   It is great to read that you've had success.....I wonder if it would be effective for people with neurofibromatosis....

(Neurofibromatosis (commonly abbreviated NF, also known as von Reklinghausen disease) is a genetically-inherited disorder in which the nerve tissue grows tumors (i.e., neurofibromas) that may be benign or may cause serious damage by compressing nerves and other tissues. The disorder affects all neural crest cells (Schwann cells, melanocytes, endoneurial fibroblasts). Cellular elements from these cell types proliferate excessively throughout the body forming tumors; melanocytes also function abnormally in this disease resulting in disordered skin pigmentation and "cafe-au-lait" spots. The tumors may cause bumps under the skin, colored spots, skeletal problems, pressure on spinal nerve roots, and other neurological problems.

I have a friend with this disorder....will mention to them the use of DCA and your success so far....please keep us posted.

   My father has experienced this also .When he was on DCA for his GBM,most of Lipomas on his arms dispeared .
He is a four year survivor I think DCA must play a role .

   My father is an MD, in his seventies, diagnosed with Prostate Cancer 6 months ago, and an initial PSA of 11.5. I told him about DCA, and he read the Warburg Hypothesis, believed in the concept and began treatment of DCA 50 mg every other day--since he elected NOT to have prostate surgery. His PSA rose to 22.5 after 3 months! His doctor was concerned and urging surgery-but we discussed it and reasoned that if his body's immune system was being utilized to dismantle or nano-destruct the tumor cells then his PSA would have to rise and then ultimately fall---HOPEFULLY. Good News! After 6 months of treatment, his PSA has dropped to 10.5 and all his symptoms have disappeared. He is continuing treatment! DCA is successfully treating his Prostate Cancer, and his PSA proves it!

   I posted before about DCA's effects on my "Multiple Lipoma Tumors"--UPDATE: The DCA treatment caused Multiple additional lesions on my ribs, and all through my sternum to swell up and become more apparent. I ultimately counted and mapped a total of 58 tumors located under my skin on my torso, flanks, and thighs. Concerned, at the urging of my father, the MD, I allowed him to biopsy one of the tumors on my sternum. The pathologist diagnosed the tumor as aggressive fibromatosis/ desmoid tumor-monoclonal myofibroblasts that reproduce and invade adjacent and contiguous tissues like ivy--usually as a result of Trauma to the area and then a tumor grows there. My trauma source is springboard diving in high school and college--I used to smack the water ALOT, and my tumors are ONLY on my torso back and legs-exactly where I was bruised. The accepted treatment is similar to the treatment for Sarcoma Cancer--wide resection of tissue, and chemo, and radiation. But NOT FOR ME! I increased my dose from 10 mg to 35 mg every other day and my tumors have been slowly dissolving for the last 9 months! Steady reduction in size has occurred in ALL of them,-at least 50%! They burn and sting and ache and tingle, with different sections of my body being affected. Some had grown around my esophagus and were affecting my ability to burp, and into and around the vicinity of my heart giving me arrrhythymias-I was messed up! But now all heart and esophageal symptoms are gone! DCA saved me from a difficult, painful, expensive, probably disfiguring surgery and chemotherapy! THANK YOU DCA! For saving my life!!!!!
