My 63 year old wife was diagnosed with nsclc in october 2008 which was removed by doing an upper left lobectomy. She now has mets to her spine, pelvis and scalp. She received 3 doses of gem/carbo which was stopped because she "looked" poorly so it wasn't doing any good. They then gave her 3 doses of Zometa which was stopped because she looked poorly so it couldn't be working (good old NHS). She is now on only palliative care with weeks to live, taking methadone to control the pain ( it doesn't) Would DCA help, what dose would she need and is it available in the UK please. Regards Keith
