"8 weeks on DCA, Anti-Oxidants, Chemo and Avastin"

Greetings,
I am a care giver and fan of an 90 pound fighter who's record is currently - Cancer Fighter with her apponent Stage IV Lung Cancer Lymphoma on the ropes taking a serious whooping!.

NOTE: Serious reactions to drugs TAXOL and TAXOTERE once we started
on DCA. She had the same protocol at larger doses in Oklahoma
while not on DCA with no TAXOL or TAXOTERE reactions.

Reaction Type:
She had her lungs simply seize up so she could not breath. the first time was about ten minutes into treatment. The second time the same thing happened and the third time it was 2 hours into her treatment and we just about lost her.

Our oncologist then moved her to a new nano delivery drug called abraxane that is powerful and after two treatments in two weeks she has shown great improvement and no reactions.

The Cause:
It might be due to an increased frequency of treatment even though it was at smaller doses. We were all pretty sure it was not DCA related more to TAXOL and TAXOTERE's toxicity but we cannot say for sure. We are just posting this reaction to be cautious with TAXOL derivitives period. If you can - ask about abraxane who knows it might be an added bonus to work well with DCA as well as having far less side effects.

Please keep in mind we have professional watchful eyes on her every week and they would yell halt if there was any doubt about this.

Our protocol:
Every week she has Chemo(carboplatin, abraxane, etc, etc )with avastin added every 2nd treatment, Anti-Oxidents, Vitamins, Lemons(in everything including her organic chicken), green teas, calcium/magnesium, Selenium, multivitamin(3 a day)

Special mention: Flaxseed(oils+seeds) L_glutamine 30mg, coQ10, Melatonin(20mg), Low fat cottage cheese, blueberries, Vitamin D(8- 10,000 mg), alkaline +

My wife is an awesome cancer fighter that has been on DCA steady now for 8 weeks and we are currently very excited about how things are going. She was a medical student in medical school for 2 years and was going to be a doctor so until we had some feedback from a real doctor/professionals we had to wait before starting dca and thank god we found help from real doctors who have more compassion than they will ever be given credit for.

Dosage at 3 weeks: We were talking it in the cottage cheese protocol.
The initial dosage was 1/8th of a teaspoon.

Weight: 88
Symptoms from DCA: Minor sore throat after the 5th day
PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her chemo and her blood
counts were solid and the Urine PH was 7+

Dosage at 4 weeks: 1/8th tsp.
Weight: 88 - no change
Symptoms from DCA: Nothing
PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her
chemo and her blood counts were a bit low and the Urine PH was
7+

Dosage at 5 weeks: 1/8th tsp
Weight: 88 - no change
Symptoms from DCA: Nothing
PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her
chemo and her blood counts were a bit low and the
Urine PH was 7+

Dosage at 6 weeks: 1/8th tsp
Weight: 89 - change
Symptoms from DCA: Sore throat
PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her
chemo and her blood counts were a bit low and the
Urine PH was 9+ - YIKES!

Note: We decided back off the alkaline + and Lemon waters for a week and continued with everything as before.

Dosage at 6 weeks: 1/8th tsp
NOTE: We decided to mix it with our Lemon powerwater and no more
sore throats.

Weight: 89 - no change
Symptoms from DCA: Nothing
PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her
chemo and her blood counts were a bit low and the
Urine PH was 6+ - YIKES!

Dosage at 7 weeks: 1/4 tsp
Weight: 89.5 - change
Symptoms from DCA: Nothing
PH: 7+ - back on track!

Dosage at 8 weeks: 1/4tsp
Weight: 90 - change
Symptoms from DCA: Nothing
PH: 7+

Lien has gained a total of 2 pounds on DCA and her skin is awesome as is her health and energy.

The Cancer Fighters Short Story:

MY wife was placed into a clinical study after we were told she would not live more than 8 - 10 months with her form of cancer - by the way this nasty agressive cancer had been stable for about three months prior to starting the trial - we give that glory to the anti-oxidants that we were pouring down her throat like soup .

They told us her cancer had moved from 0 to stage 4 in 12 months so we were thinking hmm does she have time to drive home before their termination sticker kicks in.

As we sat in a room with me crying my eyes out and my wife tightening her fists saying Im not gone yet daddy. the oncologist that left the room for 10 minutes after giving my wife her death sentence came back and offered - a clinical study!. No pallitive treatment was offered to us just go home or take the study. How we love Cancer Care Alliance for that - grrrrrr!

She went on the study of tarceva and off all anti-oxidents except for our flaxseed protocol and we had good news from the oncologist after 3 weeks. We then finally fell to pressure and went off of the flax and within a week my wife said she felt like something was really wrong and on the 6th week of the study we were told the cancer was spreading worse than before! plus her lymphnodes that had been under control/gone were now huge and there were now 3 of them.

Then they offered with hanging head - pallative chemo and it was then I realized there was no way this place was going to work for us. The very week she was going to start chemo with those wacko's we contacted Cancer Treatment Centers of America - wow do they rock! God bless those folks - wow are they something.

She is so healthy now and I firmly believe we are definately winning this fight on all fronts and that DCA is why she put on those two pounds these past 4 weeks.

Honesty we simply do not see how cancer can win being so out gunned as long as we keep our whits and never fail to always be wary of cancers cowardly methods of spreading. It is after all brainless even if its inside of us and counts on us to die of fear - its still brainless and vulnerable and a loser!

NOTE:
A CT will be taken after her 12th treatment so get ready folks because I really think the results are going to be as good as she looks and feels - Fantastic DCA results and Inspiring for us all!

God Bless All of you -

What exactly does your wife take/eat to keep her Ph levels so consistant. I try to eat as many fruit and veggies as possible, but still have trouble - generally in the 6+ range, but very seldom in the 7's . Any help you can add is appreciated. Some days I eat so many veggies I feel like my stomach cant hold another bite.

I was off the site but wanted to answer your question about her intake of DCA and how she gets a high PH:

This past two weeks of testing showed the following:

1: She has gained a total of 3.5 pounds and as of Tuesday is now 91.5
pounds.

2: She had a PH of 7.5 last week and this Tuesday after Chemo her PH
was 8.5. This might be a bit high but she feeling great! and dug
out a length of grass 2 feet wide and 20 feet long and then this
morning she laid bark and tamped it down! Yesterday she competed in
ping pong matches an tomorrow morning she has matches setup for all
day. It is hard to think of her as ill but she knows she is beating
its pants off right now and we do not fear tomorrow.

She is not showing any signs of illness at all and has not even had a chemo headache in over three weeks. I am not sure as to why things are so good right now but I definitely literally become despondent to anyone who tries to alter our regimen.

3: No symptoms from DCA at all so we were told to go for it and raise her dosage again which means 3/8 of a teaspoon which she is taking at times now.

NOTE: Sometimes she takes DCA in cottage cheese after taking it in Lemon water so she is getting extra DCA at least once a week. So far the only issue has been tiredness but that has not been an issue for a few weeks now. To be honest I think her tiredness is from the chemo and not DCA.

DCA ROCKS!

Oracle

Here is what she is taking for her PH:

alkaline + Plus - this is used for all her daily soups, tea.
Lemon Water - lots of Lemon water all day long.
Lemon on her salads, chicken(yummy)
1/4 teaspoon of DCA diluted in 1/2 bottle of Lemon water.
Papaya's two to three a week.

This week:

DCA: 3/8th teaspoon in 12 ounces of Lemon and Quecertin.

Weight: 91.5 pounds( today our family doctor was impressed saying wow she was 86 pounds when we saw her in May 2007. She has gained 5 1/2 pounds which suprised even me.

PH: 8.4

NEW Elixirs: Mushroom blend in liquid form, Quecertin, Liquid THC

Symptoms: She is tired in this new change of the weather. She also is saying things taste bitter these past few days. Not sure what that means but its effecting what she wants to eat. She is eating UDON Noodles, tofu, vegies but nothing heavy - not sure what this all means. I get vey scared if she does not take her DCA and other Omega's arrrgg her cancer was so agressive!

5. "Updated for 14th week on DCA, Anti-Oxidants, Chemo"
In response to message #4

This week:

DCA: 3/8th teaspoon in 12 ounces of Lemon water - does not always mix
with Quecertin but Im trying to get her there.

She is pre-mixing for the next day and it looks like we have DCA all over the house in bottles of lemon water. She drinks it throughout the day and right before bed she finishes it off.

Weight: 91.5 pounds so no change from last week.
PH: 6+ - dramatic change from our normal 7.5 - 8.4

IMPORTANT FOR THOSE TRYING TO RAISE PH:
When her ph was high we stopped the lemon water and in a week all ph wass lost so based on our experience - 2 times over a 5 week perriod of testing we have seen our PH dramatically go up or drop based on our lemon water intake. he nice thing is it tastes great and s very easy to drink with DCA.

Vitamins and Elixirs once a day:

Myoplex high protien low sugar drink, Mushroom blend in liquid form, Quecertin, Green tea's, Organic Soy milk,Liquid B complex, 10,000 mg Fish Oil, Vitamin E, Ester C, Niacin, Selenium, Ensure(not sure if this is ok or not, Low fat cottage cheese with three tablespoons of flax oil, two tablespoons of flax seeds, organic blueberries sweetened with 1/16th teaspoon of Canadian pure maple syrup.

Symptoms: A bitter taste in her mouth but other than that no symptoms at all - she is loaded with energy and feels great.
The bitter taste seems to last about 3 - 4 days.

NOTE: She met a person with breast cancer yesterday who refused Chemo and is getting intravenous C at CTC. The person is a vegan and her tumors are diminishing. This helped be because now she is less likely to want spicy beef sticks

She is still eating UDON Noodles, Wok'd tofu and vegies in grape seed and or sesame oil but nothing heavy.

For the past week she has been taking all of her vitamins, Omega's, DCA, Flax - everything so I am very happy with how she is doing right now.

Any advice on the vitamin E - is it ok or not - I am confused on this one subject.

We scan in 2 more weeks!

God Bless

6. "Update for 15th week on DCA, Anti-Oxidants, Chemo"
In response to message #5

Hello folks we have pretty much the same results as last week except her PH went down when we stopped the Lemon water.

Weight: 91 1/2 lbs - no change

Symptoms from DCA: Bitter taste in mouth but other than that she is
really feeling great.

PH: We had a ph and blood count done after her
chemo and her blood counts were a bit low and the
Urine PH was 6+ - YIKES Again!

Cause For Drop:
We have confirmed that Lemon Water is the big player here. We have changed only one thing when her PH was at 8.5 and over 9.+ and that was stopping the Lemon Water.

When we stopped her PH dropped like a rock between weekly PH tests. When we resumed the exact same Lemon water her PH sky rocketed back to 7+ or 8+ by her next weekly test.

God Bless and next post is next Wednesday.

   Oracle,

This is the standard metabolic pathway for Citrate (citric acid in lemons) it finishes up as bicarbonate which has an alkalysing effect on the blood and is reflected in the urine pH.

Any Citrate source will have the same effect on pH.
