   I don't get it. If they are sooooo concerned with people 'self medicating' then WHY don't they just let doctors prescribe it NOW without the fear of losing their licenses. It's like 'THE SYSTEM' is more important than 'THE PATIENT'. How backwards!

YES! Absolutey, instead they tell everyone, very suddenly after they have given the maximum tolerated dose of poison, to simply go home, we have done all we can do. Doctors should be able to do their own trials without the FDA or anyone else involved except the patient.
