1. Cancer cell division (rapid) takes approximately 18-24 hours.
(Can the mitochondria be switched back on during this phase?). So, does this mean any treatment has to be continuous (24/7)?

2. Once switched on, do the cancer cell mitochondria need to be topped up continually with DCA?
Perhaps important in early days if 1/2 life then is as low as 1 hour.

3. I understand that when the the decision to enter apoptosis is taken, the cell can the go dormant for several hours.
Does the mitochondria go 'dormant' as well (ie does it react to the DCA being supplied?)

4. Found it very difficult to find out how long it would take DCA to be absorbed by the body and reach the cancer cell.
45 minutes to 60 minutes has been suggested. Can anyone comfirm?

I read that cytochrome c is a key player in causing ER calcium release and so cell death. I've seen it suggested here that milk of magnesia can be taken as a supplement (ie calcium) - does this have a role by elevating the cellular calcium level?

Also read that caffeine can trigger cytochrome c production (as can wasp venom).

So, anyone know if taking a concurrent dose of caffeine, calcium and DCA would improve effectiveness of the treatment?
