Dear Sandra, earlier you posted this in the testimonials section:

"When Squareb quit, I talked to my pharmacist about it, and he thought this is a drug that one should taper off gradually, rather then stop abruptly. Given that the half life in the human body changes from 1 hour, to 7 hours over a period of about 3 months,(that would make the drug active for a much longer time) I'm wondering if a lower dose would reduce the side effects and still be effective against the cancer."

Did you mean the half life of DCA just there?

I would be very interested to learn about the half-life of DCA in the human body, is there a source reference you can point me to?

If it is true the half life is one hour at the start of treatment it could be indeed worthwhile to actually try the small hourly dosages, not exceeding 15mg/kg/day total instead of 25mg/kg/day spread out over two servings.

Also, if the half-life increases over treatment time, it seems that the amount od DCA taken should be adjusted downwards when taken for longer periods of time. Thanks in advance for any reference you can give me...
