Have a Hylar mass that stayed the same but the tumor in my right lung increased from 2.5 x 2.9 cm to 3.1 x 3.3 cm. This tumor had stayed the same for 16 months and has now increased for the first time in the last three.

Last year in the first three months I took DCA my Hylar tumor decreased by 50% and since then all my tumors had remained the same till now.

What was different? My DCA was getting near its expiration date. I stopped taking fish oil, had been taking as much as 10-15 grams a day. Increased my Metformin from 200 mg to 300 mg. Started taking Tagamet or Cimetidine at a gram a day the last two weeks and I had skipped everything but aspirin for a month of the last three. DCA for an extra week.

Whatever I now have to consider chemo for the first time. My oncologist says the sooner the better.
