   My dad just had another CT scan on 02-02-09, the result is alarmingly not good. The size of the tumor has increased again, from 5.4cm x 6cm to 6.5cm x 7.6cm. He has lost more than 11 pounds within just last month, and his body weight is 109 pounds only.
During the past two months, the amount of DCA used was 25mg/kg/day initially for about 2 weeks, then my dad has pretty bad P/N. The amount has been always 20mg, but the numbness in his feet never got better. His hands is a little bit better than the feet.
I just obtained naltrexone and start using it together with DCA 15mg, with the hope to ease the P/N. I hope these two meds can enhance each other efficacy. I would like also to add Iressa once I obtain it.
my feeling is that DCA does work, but it can not keep the cancer under control.
Right now, I am pretty panic about the development and welcome any suggestions.
