My background is engineering, so I enjoy researching and thanks for your excellent link www.grouppekurosawa.com/blog/ I also researched my life expectancy with conventional medicine - about a 37% for 7 years. I decided to pursue alternative after realizing that most people who are treated conventionally end up getting cancer again, usually one that is more resistant to chemo, plus their own immune system is ravaged. Glad to hear from people who, like me, believe there is science behind alternative medicine!
