"Rats versus Humans Vitamin C .Requirements"
Experimentation with Rats is a convenient cheap preliminary method to screen drugs.

It should be noted however that Rats unlike Humans and Primates can synthesise their own Vitamin C.

Poor translation of Rat trial Positive result to Human trials often fails to acknowledge this significant species difference.

It is strongly recommended that patients consider an additional Vitamin C intake of 10grams per day. It is well documented that Plasma Vitamin C levels are often depleted in cancer Patients.

Food for Thought.
